Preschool
These sessions usually operate in rural and urban fringe areas, often outreaching from a regional centre to venues such as community halls in very small towns. As parents are not present, the staff has “care” of the children and is regulated by the Department of Community Services. Attendances are usually 10 to 20 children per day, depending on the population density of the drawing area and the capacity of the community halls.
The children are involved in indoor and outdoor activities; enjoy a group time with songs, games and stories during this time as well as having time to interact with the other children.
We currently run Preschool Sessions at O'Connell and Perthville.
